Our XCEL Team is an exciting option for girls interested in competitive gymnastics!  This team is designed with your family in mind! Team hours range from 4-12 hours per week, and the competitive season is budget friendly.

 

XCEL Team



XCEL Bronze

 

XCEL Bronze similar to JO level 2. Practices are twice a week for 2 hours each time. Each athlete will have a competition/practice leotard, warm ups, and bag. You will have the choice of attending either 2 or 5 meets each season. All meets are through the KC League. At Xtreme, we consider Bronze a “compulsory” level. Xtreme will have a Bronze routine for Bars, Beam, and Floor and pick the most developmentally appropriate vault for the group. Once USAG hands down their rules each year we will choreograph appropriate routines and post them on the gym’s YouTube page. The flexibility of the XCEL program will allow us to change specific skills as needed to help highlight athlete’s strengths or help to overcome fears or mental blocks!



XCEL Silver

 

XCEL silver is similar to JO Level 3. Practices are twice a week for 3 hours each time. Each athlete will have a competitive/practice leotard, warm ups, and bag. You will have the choice of attending either 2 or 5 meets each season. All meets are through the KC League. At Xtreme, we consider Silver a “compulsory” level. Xtreme will have a Silver routine for Bars, Beam, and Floor and pick the most developmentally appropriate vault for the group. XCEL Gold

 

XCEL Gold is similar to JO Levels 4 & 5. Practices are twice a week for 3 hours each time with the option to add a third day per week for 3 hours. Each athlete will have a competitive leotard, practice leotard, warm ups, and bag. You will have the choice to compete in either the KC League or through USA Gymnastics. If you choose to compete through USAG, your daughter will have the chance to qualify for State and Regional championships! At Xtreme, we consider Gold a “compulsory” level. Xtreme will have a Gold routine for Bars, Beam, and Floor and pick the most developmentally appropriate vault for the group. Once USAG hands down their rules each year we will choreograph appropriate routines and post them on the gym’s YouTube page. XCEL Platinum

 

XCEL Platinum is similar to JO Levels 5-7. Practices are 3 times per week for 3 hours each time. Each athlete will have a competition leotard, practice leotard, warm ups, and bag. All Platinum athletes will compete through USAG and have the chance to qualify for State and Regional Championships! Platinum is the 1st Division where each athlete will have their own routines for each of the 4 events. Music and choreography costs are added at this Division. Floor music must be approved by the coaching staff. Choreography may be changed throughout the season to help highlight athlete’s strengths and incorporate new skills mastered as the season progresses and also based on feedback from judges throughout the season.

 

 

XCEL Diamond

 

 XCEL Diamond is similar to JO levels 8-10. Practices are 3-4 days per week for 3 hours each time. Each athlete will have a competition leotard, practice leotard, warm ups, and bag. All Diamond athletes will compete through USAG and have the chance to qualify for State and Regional Championships! All Diamond athletes will have their own routines for each of the 4 events. Music and choreography costs are added at this Division. Floor music must be approved by the coaching staff. Choreography may be changed throughout the season to help highlight athlete’s strengths and incorporate new skills mastered as the season progresses and also based on feedback from judges throughout the season.
